We have brownies..the all classic dessert. You can make them homemade or with a box or heck, even a cake mix! However you like to make them, they are such a chocolaty treat, they are hard to resist.
Let’s jump right into this post today!
Today’s brownies are that classic chocolate, but, with lots of added goodness packed into them:
Here is a breakdown:
- your base layer is chocolate chip cookie dough
- the next layer is peanut butter cups
- finally, the brownie batter.

These are some really amazing brownies! Fudgy, peanut buttery and packed a whole lotta punch. A great idea for that next party you are headed to or a special treat right at home.
Whenever you eat them..start slow! They are rich and filling and a small portion size is probably the best way to start with them.
Peanut Butter Cup Cookie Dough Brownies
Decadent,fudgy,brownies filled with peanut butter cups and cookie dough. A dessert lovers dream!
Ingredients
- 1 box Pillsbury brownie mix for 13 x 9 pan, plus ingredients listed on package
- 30 oz. package of Pillsbury refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough. at room temperature
- 24 peanut butter cup candies
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish.
- Spread cookie dough evenly on the bottom of baking dish. (make sure cookie dough is at room temperature. It's much easier to spread)
- Line peanut butter cups on top of cookie dough.
- Mix brownie batter according to directions on box.
- Spread brownie batter on top of peanut butter cups.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Be sure you are checking the brownie batter, not the peanut butter cups when checking with toothpick.
- Let brownies cool for 30 minutes before serving.
