We have brownies..the all classic dessert. You can make them homemade or with a box or heck, even a  cake mix! However you like to make them, they are such a chocolaty treat, they are hard to resist.

Today’s brownies are that classic chocolate, but, with lots of added goodness packed into them:

Here is a breakdown:

  • your base layer is chocolate chip cookie dough
  • the next layer is peanut butter cups
  • finally, the brownie batter.

These are some really amazing brownies! Fudgy, peanut buttery and packed a whole lotta punch. A great idea for that next party you are headed to or a special treat right at home.

Whenever you eat them..start slow! They are rich and filling and a small portion size is probably the best way to start with them.

Peanut Butter Cup Cookie Dough Brownies from Table for Seven

Prep Time 30 minutes
Cook Time 40 minutes
Total Time 1 hour 10 minutes

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish.
  2. Spread cookie dough evenly on the bottom of baking dish. (make sure cookie dough is at room temperature. It's much easier to spread)
  3. Line peanut butter cups on top of cookie dough.
  4. Mix brownie batter according to directions on box.
  5. Spread brownie batter on top of peanut butter cups.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Be sure you are checking the brownie batter, not the peanut butter cups when checking with toothpick.
  7. Let brownies cool for 30 minutes before serving.
