Make Your Brownies:

  • These brownies are quick to whip up and you don’t need to drag out your big mixer for them. Simply mix the ingredients in a good size mixing bowl. A wooden spoon or silicone spatula will do the job.
  • Spread the batter in a greased 8 x 8 baking pan ( not your standard 9 x 13) and bake.
  • Once they are fully baked, let them cool for 30 minutes before cutting. This will prevent you from making a big mess of them.

They are amazing plain, but, can also be topped off with a wide variety of toppings. Try them with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, caramel sauce, or a dusting of powdered sugar or coco powder!

Enjoy!

This looks so good so I am planning to make this for my school project.I am 11 years old and I have made many cakes and brownies by myself so I am guessing this should be also as the same. I am going to prepare the batter today.

I absolutely adore this recipe. I've made it a couple weeks in a row, and now it's going to be my go-to. I add a half a capful (probably a quarter teaspoon... ish) of almond extract, and it's perfect.

Wow! These are really good brownies! Just made them at lunch, probably the best recipe I seen. Fairly easy, probably fail proof, I'm 13 and had no problem with this! Usually great with vanilla icecream. I ate mine with neupolian icecream. Cooked these for about 33 minutes, not overcooked at all, perfectly cooked. Has a very nice crust on top! Tip: if you don't have enough butter, melt the butter. Measure it. After you measured the butter, use vegetable oil or conala oil for the rest of what you need measured. Works great.

Great flavor - but at 20 minutes were close to over baked. Will try again baking 15-18 minutes.

@Nikki, YES! I should have checked at 2o. I did 30 and they are cakey and a bit dry. Not Fudgy as described at all. If I would not have made a buttercream frosting they definetly would have been a NO.
