Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • The preparation for this dish consists of little more than combining the components in a food processor. A further advantage is that it may be prepared in about ten minutes, including the time needed for preparation.
  • Because the flavor of cream cheese dip improves even more after it has been given the opportunity to mature in the refrigerator, it is an excellent choice for an appetizer that can be made in advance of a party or other social gathering.
  • You won’t believe how creamy and smooth this is until it’s in your hands. Because of its wonderful flavor, you won’t be able to get enough of it.
  • This is a hit with everyone! It is certain to be well received by the audience!

Pioneer Woman Cream Cheese Dip Ingredients

Although it’s created with simple, readily available ingredients, this herb-based dip packs a lot of flavor in a tasty punch. This is everything you will need to get started:

  • Cream Cheese. Bring it to room temperature since you want it to readily combine with the other ingredients after it has been softened. In the event that you forget to do so, you may simply reheat it in the microwave for approximately a minute. To begin, you will need to make sure that the packing has been removed.
  • Sour Cream. It gives the dish an incredible creaminess and a lovely tang. Greek yogurt can be used in place of part or all of the sour cream in the dip; however, this will result in a more tart taste in the finished product.
  • Mayonnaise. The addition of mayonnaise mitigates the puckering effect of the sour cream and makes the dish even creamier.
  • Green Onions And Other Fresh Herbs. The green onions, parsley, and dill that we’re using are all fresh. They impart a delectable burst of crispness into each and every bite!
  • Salt & Pepper. To taste!

Can I Substitute Greek Yogurt?

That is definitely not something you should do. Greek yogurt has a more tart flavor and less fat than regular yogurt. When prepared with sour cream, this dip has a more pleasing flavor.

Can I Serve It Hot?

Although I prefer to serve my Cream Cheese Dip chilled, you may also bake it and serve it hot if you want. Bake it in a small baking dish of one-quart capacity in an oven preheated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

How To Make Pioneer Woman Cream Cheese Dip

  • Put all of the ingredients in a food processor and blitz them until the mixture is smooth. Cover and place in the refrigerator for approximately 30 minutes.
  • Serve chilled with crackers, potato chips, or raw vegetables, according to your guests’ preferences.

How To Serve Cream Cheese Dip?

When I make this Cream Cheese Dip, I serve it with a variety of raw veggies, but my favorites are baby carrots, grape tomatoes, broccoli florets, cauliflower florets, snap peas, and sliced bell pepper. This cream cheese dip is so flavorful that it works just as well as a dip for chips and crackers. We often use Kettle chips, Ruffles, pretzels, multigrain crackers, and Ritz crackers. Put a dollop on a wrap or a sandwich!

How To Store Cream Cheese Dip?

  • In The Fridge. If you store it in a container that doesn’t allow air to circulate, this cream cheese dip can keep fresh in the refrigerator for approximately four days; however, I can guarantee that it won’t survive that long. When you are ready to serve it, give it a thorough stir to combine the flavors.
  • In The Freezer. It is not suggested to freeze this cream cheese dip since the texture of the cream cheese in the dip will alter if frozen.

How Do You Get Cream Cheese To The Right Consistency For Dipping?

Cream cheese may be softened by leaving it out at room temperature for a couple of hours or by placing a block of unwrapped cream cheese on a microwave-safe plate and microwaving it on high for 15 seconds.

How Long Can This Vegetable Dip Be Left Out At Room Temperature?

It is recommended that dips not be kept out at room temperature for more than two hours. Because it contains dairy products, you will want to serve this dip cold and fresh from the refrigerator. If you go over the 2-hour mark, you can always cover it and put it back in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before allowing people to eat it again. This is a backup plan in case you go over the 2-hour mark.

My Personal Recipe Tips

  • Reduce the number of calories. You may make a dip with fewer calories by using reduced-fat versions of common ingredients like cream cheese, sour cream (or Greek yogurt), and mayonnaise for their full-fat counterparts.
  • Do you wish to make use of dried herbs? In my dip, I use fresh herbs, but you can certainly substitute dried ones if you like. If using dried herbs, add 2 teaspoons of dried dill and 4 tablespoons of dry parsley.
  • Make more. If you need to prepare food for a bigger group of people, you may simply double the ingredients in this recipe by two or three.
  • Transform it into a sauce or a dressing. To transform this appetizer into a dressing, all you need to do is mix in enough milk or buttermilk until it reaches the proper consistency.
  • Garnish. It is entirely up to you whether or not you want to garnish this dip with fresh dill and chives, although doing so is not required. You may even consider sprinkling on some crumbled bacon.

So I made this recipe years ago and really liked it. Found it again tonight, added 1-2 tbls of minced garlic, 3 leaves of sage 1/2 sprig of rosemary (3"),all minced no blender. For those that like heat like me separate out 1/3 to 1/4 of the mix and add 1 habeñero finely minced.

Made a smoked salmon wrap with this mod that was absolutely to die for. In the wrap was the dip, with habeñero, cucumber and zucchini strips with fresh leaf spinach. Just in case anyone thinks this a yuppy post, I raise and butcher my own hogs, chickens and beef.

Oh, I also eat them!
