A quick and easy breakfast casserole full of two types of cheese, breakfast sausage and a crescent roll crust.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans refrigerator crescent rolls
  • 1 pound ground pork sausage
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish.
  • Unroll crescent roll dough into a flat sheet. Spread on bottom of baking dish.
  • In a large skillet, brown pork sausage until no longer pink. Drain. Wipe down skillet lightly.
  • Add cream cheese into skillet and heat until melted. Return drained sausage back into the pan and mix well with the cheese.
  • Once fully mixed, spread sausage mixture evenly on top of dough.
  • Sprinkle sausage mixture with cheddar cheese. Unroll 2nd crescent roll dough into a flat sheet. Spread on top of cheese.
  • Bake 20-25 minutes or until dough is brown.
