Ingredients

  • 4 pounds chicken breasts
  • 1 cup jack cheese sliced
  • 1 ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • chopped parsley

Mushroom Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 6 ounces condensed mushroom soup
  • 1 cup soybean oil
  • 1 cup flour
  • 8 ounces portobello mushrooms finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 teaspoons granulated salt
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder

Instructions

Mushroom Sauce:

  • Squeeze the soybean oil into a saucepan and heat it on a low flame. In a container, combine the water and mushroom soup and leave aside.
  • After about a minute, add finely chopped portobello mushrooms to this oil and cook while constantly stirring.
  • After 2-3 minutes of cooking, add a cup of flour to the pan. Combine thoroughly. Keep the flour from turning brown.
  • Then, in the next step, pour in the water and mushroom soup mixture. Continuously whisk the mixture until it boils.
  • Cook the mixture for another 5 minutes. Add garlic powder, sugar, salt, and pepper to your sauce to make it more flavorful.
  • Combine them thoroughly with the remaining sauce.

Chicken Breasts:

  • First, grill your chicken after covering both sides with oil. Place the chicken in the baking dish once it has been grilled. Then, place a slice of Jack cheese on top of each breast piece.
  • Bake until the cheese is completely melted. After that, remove it from the oven and pour the mushroom sauce and grated Parmesan cheese over the chicken pieces.
  • Serve immediately with freshly chopped parsley on top.
