- 1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
- 2 tablespoons dried minced onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ cup pizza sauce divided
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese divided
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg white
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a baking dish or loaf pan lightly.
In a bowl, mix all ingredients, except 1/4 cup pizza sauce and 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese.
Shape mixture in to a loaf, place into a baking dish and top with remaining 1/4 cup pizza sauce.
Bake for 50 minutes, then top with remaining cheese. Put back into the oven for another 10 minutes or until cooked thoroughly.
Let it stand for about 10 minutes before serving.
