Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 onions diced
  • 2 bell peppers diced
  • 2 cups long-grain white rice cooked
  • 1 (15-ounce) can of tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it is cooked through, about 10 minutes. Drain the fat from the skillet and discard.
  • Add the onions, bell peppers, and cooked rice to the skillet and cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the tomato sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper to the skillet and stir to combine.
  • Transfer the mixture to a 9×13-inch baking dish and spread it into an even layer.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top of the casserole.
  • Bake the casserole for 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
