Ingredients
  

  • 1 ¼ cups flour
  • cup dry hot cocoa mix sweetened store bought or homemade
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • chocolate syrup store bought or homemade, for topping
  • whipped cream store bought or homemade, for topping
  • chocolate sprinkles for topping

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa mix, salt and baking powder.
  • Then, stir in egg, oil and milk and mix to combine. Don’t over mix.Lightly oil griddle or frying pan over medium low heat.
  • Scoop approx 1/4 cup of batter onto griddle/pan. Cook until bubbles form and flip over. Cook another 2 minutes. Repeat until batter is gone.
  • If desired, garnish with chocolate syrup, chocolate sprinkles and whipped cream before serving.
