Preheat the oven to 400°F. Place your French bread loaf on a baking pan and cut it lengthwise.
Combine melted butter, garlic powder, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and shredded cheese in a small mixing bowl. Distribute equally on both sides of the garlic bread.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until the butter is melted and bubbling. You may also broil the top for 1-2 minutes in the end to make it crisper.
If desired, garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
Notes
This homemade garlic bread may be crispy or soft depending on your preference. Wrap your bread in foil for softer bread that isn’t as crunchy on the outside.
