Banoffee Pie by Gordon Ramsay is a delectable treat layered with a graham cracker crust, dulce de leche, bananas, toffee bits, and whipped cream, and ready within 33 minutes!
Combine the graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, melted butter, and salt in a medium basin. Stir to combine.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a deep-dish pie plate that measures 9 inches.
Allow around 8 minutes for the mixture to bake until it begins to somewhat firm. Put aside.
Fill the bottom of the crust with 1 ½ cups of dulce de leche.
Top with bananas, overlapping slightly in concentric circles.
Sprinkle with the toffee bits followed by dulce de leche. Be generous with the toffee bits (½ cup) and the dulce de leche (¼ cup).
Combine the cream and 3 tablespoons of sugar in a bowl and whisk with a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium-high speed until soft peaks are formed. Blend in the vanilla extract.
Top the banana layer with whipped cream.
Spoon dulce de leche by the teaspoonful onto the whipped cream layer and swirl with the back of a spoon.
Set aside for 30 minutes to 3 hours to chill.
Add chunks of toffee and slices of banana as garnish.
Notes
Ensure the crust is lightly set after baking for a perfect base.
Layer bananas evenly for consistent flavor in each bite.
Whip cream to soft peaks for a light and fluffy texture.
Swirl dulce de leche into whipped cream for an elegant presentation.
