Frozen Bread Dough Cinnamon Rolls

Making homemade cinnamon rolls is a snap when using frozen bread dough!

Ingredients
  

FOR ROLLS:

  • 1 pound loaf frozen bread dough
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon2 butter melted

FOR ICING:

  • 4 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoon milk

Instructions
 

  • Let dough thaw completely and rise. This should take approx 2-3 hours.
  • Once thawed, roll out dough to approx 12 x 12 square.
  • Spread melted butter on top of square, then, sprinkle with brown sugar and ground cinnamon.
  • Roll dough carefully into a log.  Pinch the ends to seal and cut into 12 equal slices.
  • Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish.
  • Place dough slices into baking dish. Cover and let rolls rise in a warm place, until they are doubled in size.  This should take approx 1- 1 1/2 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • After rolls have risen, bake, uncovered in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.

FOR ICING:

  • Whisk icing ingredients together until smooth. Spread on warm rolls.
