Line your crock pot with parchment paper or crock pot liner or spray with non stick cooking spray.
In a saucepan, melt butter with 1 cup of chocolate chips until smooth. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, mix together flour, salt, cocoa powder and baking powder.
Add in sugar, eggs, and melted butter/chocolate mixture. Mix until fully combined. Fold in 1/3 cup of chocolate chips.
Spread batter into pot. Cover and cook on low for 3 1/2 hours. Remove lid, increase temperature to high and cook an additional 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Once done, remove crock and let it cool for 30 minutes. Then, remove brownies from crock pot and let them cool completely.
