Crock Pot Fudgy Brownies

Fudgy chocolate brownies made right in your crock pot!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ¼ cup flour
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • dash of salt
  • 3 eggs
  • ¾ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate chips + additional 1/3 cup

Instructions
 

  • Line your crock pot with parchment paper or crock pot liner or spray with non stick cooking spray.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter with 1 cup of chocolate chips until smooth.  Set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, mix together flour, salt, cocoa powder and baking powder.
  • Add in sugar, eggs, and melted butter/chocolate mixture. Mix until fully combined.  Fold in 1/3 cup of chocolate chips.
  • Spread batter into pot.  Cover and cook on low for 3 1/2 hours. Remove lid, increase temperature to high and cook an additional 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Once done, remove crock and let it cool for 30 minutes. Then, remove brownies from crock pot and let them cool completely.
