Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops about 1 pound
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • black pepper to taste preference
  • 2 tablespoons butter

FOR SAUCE:

  • 1 ½ cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup flour

Instructions

  • Add pork chops, 1/2 cup flour, black pepper and garlic powder into a large freezer bag. Seal bag and shake well to coat pork chops thoroughly.
  • Melt 2 TBSP over medium heat in a large skillet. Add floured pork chops to skillet. Brown on each side for 3-5 minutes. Do not completely cook them. Just brown them.
  • Add browned pork chops into crock pot.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together chicken broth and 1/4 cup flour. Pour over chops.
  • Cover crock pot and cook on low for 3-4 hours.

Notes

  • Cooking time may vary, depending on your crock pot and size/thickness of pork chops. The internal temperature of the pork chops should be at least 145 degrees when done.
