Ingredients
  

  • 1 ¾ cups flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • ¾ cup butter softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease a 9 inch loaf pan.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Approx 5 minutes.
  • Slowly, add in eggs, yolks and vanilla. Beat until fluffy. Approx another 3 minutes.
  • Gradually, add in flour.  Beat on low, just until fully combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Spread batter into prepared pan and bake for 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Let cake cool for 20-30 minutes before removing from pan.
