Chocolate Chip Pound Cake

- 1 ¾ cups flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- ¾ cup butter softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease a 9 inch loaf pan.
In a bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Approx 5 minutes.
Slowly, add in eggs, yolks and vanilla. Beat until fluffy. Approx another 3 minutes.
Gradually, add in flour. Beat on low, just until fully combined.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Spread batter into prepared pan and bake for 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let cake cool for 20-30 minutes before removing from pan.
