Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup butter softened
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup low cal sweetener
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup white flour
  • 1 cup wheat flour if you don’t have any available, 2 cups regular flour will work fine
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 5 tablespoons mini chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease 12 count muffin pan of line with liners.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together flours, baking powder and baking soda. Set aside.
  • In another bowl, mix butter, sugar and sweetener until creamy. Add in eggs. Then, add in vanilla and milk. Mix until well combined.
  • Slowly add dry mixture into wet ingredients. Beat until combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Pour evenly into prepared muffin pan.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
  • Cool for about 5 minutes before removing from pan.

Notes

  • This recipe calls for no-calorie sweetener, I used Truvia. You can use whatever type you wish or you can use regular sugar, just adjust accordingly.
