Ingredients
  

FOR CAKE:

  • 2 cups flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup canola oil
  • 2-3 ripe bananas smashed
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

FOR FROSTING:

  • 1 ripe banana cut into pieces
  • 4 tablespoons butter softened
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 cups powdered sugar

Instructions
 

FOR CAKE:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat eggs and sugar. Add in oil, milk, vanilla and bananas. Mix well.
  • Gradually add in flour mixture and mix until well combined.
  • Pour into prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.

FOR FROSTING:

  • In a saucepan, cook down banana until it becomes thicken ( about 5 minutes) Let is cool completely.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese,butter and vanilla until creamy. Add in cooled banana.
  • Gradually add in powdered sugar until fluffy. If desired, add in more powdered sugar to get desired consistency.
