In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, ground cinnamon and nutmeg. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine egg, melted butter, brown sugar,apple cider, and vanilla. Add in flour mixture slowly. Combine well. Your batter will be thick.
Spoon into doughnut pan
For mini doughnuts: bake 5-7 minutes or light brown.
For regular size doughnuts: bake 7-9 minutes or light brown
FOR TOPPING:
In a bowl, mix together sugar and ground cinnamon.
Coat warm doughnuts with melted butter, then, coat with cinnamon sugar mixture.
