  • cup whole milk Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon minced capers
  • 1 tablespoon diced dill pickles
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 garlic clove grated
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • chives for garnish

Instructions

  • Combine the mayo, yogurt, lemon juice, capers, pickles, mustard, garlic, onion powder, and pepper in a small mixing bowl.
  • Season with pinches of salt to taste.
  • Garnish with chives and serve with any of the options in the post above.

Notes

  • Your homemade tartar sauce can keep in the fridge for up to a week if you store it in a sealed container. Because of natural causes, the sauce may separate; thus, you should give it a good stir before serving.
