This Pioneer Woman Million Dollar Dip is one of the most famous Super Bowl recipes, and it has just five ingredients: mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, bacon, green onions, and almonds.
¼cupslivered or sliced almonds I used raw almonds, to toast them follow the steps mentioned previously
Instructions
In a bowl, add all of the ingredients and stir until uniform.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours and enjoy with your favorite crackers
Notes
You can make it ahead of time (a day or two) and allow it to sit in the fridge until you’re ready to serve it.
You can substitute the mayonnaise with Greek or regular yogurt for less fat.
Use a sharp knife to chop the green onions. Not only will this make chopping the onions simpler, but it will also improve their flavor. Using a dull knife tends to smash veggies rather than slice them. In the process, sulfur is released, which makes the onions pungent.
Add in a block of softened cream cheese for a more creamy dip and rich dip.
Skip the cayenne pepper if you’re serving this dip to kids.
Cover the Pioneer Woman Million Dollar Dip with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3 to 4 days. I’m sure it won’t last that long, though.
Play around with different types of cheeses to create new cheesy dips!
Top with blue cheese crumbles for a little more pizzazz.
Although it is best known as a delightful cracker dip, feel free to try it with tortilla chips, pork rinds, or the ever-popular potato chip.
