Notes

  • Mexican Hamburger Gravy. The tex-mex spices of chili powder, garlic, and cumin are used in this version. Warm tortillas are served with gravy on top, along with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and other Mexican-style toppings.
  • Bacon And Cheese Hamburger Gravy. To make this variant, crumbled bacon and shredded cheese are added. With the addition of bacon and cheese, the gravy takes on an appealing taste and creamy consistency.
  • Southwest Hamburger Gravy. Diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, and smoked paprika are all components of this variant of hamburger gravy. It’s a wonderful method for giving your go-to comfort dish a southwestern twist.
  • Italian-Style Hamburger Gravy. In this variant, herbs and spices typical of Italian cooking are used. It makes a substantial, Italian-inspired supper when served over spaghetti or mashed potatoes.
  • Greek-Style Hamburger Gravy. The inclusion of oregano, thyme, and feta cheese gives this meal a distinctively Mediterranean flavor profile. To make a full Greek-style dinner, serve it over rice.
  • Onion And Mushroom Hamburger Gravy. In this variant, onions and mushrooms are sautéed and added to the dish. Both ingredients, together, make for a gravy that’s rich in flavor and velvety to the bite.
  • Creamy Gouda And Bacon Hamburger Gravy. In this version, crumbled bacon and melted gouda cheese are added. When combined with the hamburger gravy, the bacon and cheese create a savory, hearty dish.
