Notes

  • Vegetable Variation. Boost the nutritional value of the soup by including more veggies, like spinach, corn, or peas. To the dish, these ingredients will bring vibrancy, texture, and health benefits.
  • Spicy Version. Those who prefer their food on the spicier side might spice up the soup with some red pepper flakes or diced jalapeno. Those who like strong flavors will appreciate this variant.
  • Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup. Add some heavy cream or sour cream to the soup for a creamy and soothing variation. This will enrich the soup stock and make the soup thicker.
  • Herbed Chicken Noodle Soup. Fresh herbs, such as thyme, rosemary, or basil, can give the soup a unique herbal flavor. The dish will benefit from the earthy and fragrant herbs.
  • Gluten-Free Chicken Noodle Soup. Replace regular egg noodles with gluten-free alternatives like quinoa or rice for individuals who have to avoid gluten. Because of this change, the soup can be enjoyed by persons with gluten sensitivities.
  • Asian-Inspired Chicken Noodle Soup. Soy sauce, ginger, and green onions give the soup an Asian flavor. This twist on the classic soup offers a welcome contrast to the milder flavors with which most people are more familiar.
