Jamie Oliver’s baked turkey legs are perfect any time of year, and they’re also perfect for Thanksgiving dinner. Roasting at a high temperature ensures crispy skin and juicy meat.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 turkey legs thighs and drumsticks, (4-5 pounds)
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • ½ teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees F, meanwhile, pat dry the turkey legs with paper towels.
  • Next, whisk the melted butter with salt, garlic powder, and pepper, then generously brush the butter mixture all around your turkey legs.
  • At this point, you want to transfer your turkey legs to a greased baking pan, make sure the skin side is down, transfer to the preheated oven.
  • Allow your Turkey legs to roast for about 30 minutes, flip the legs so that the skin side up and allow them to roast for another 45 minutes to 1 hour or until the internal temperature of the thighs reaches 170°F.
