Ingredients
  

  • 2 ribeye steaks about 1 inch thick
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves smashed
  • 3 sprigs of thyme
  • 3 sprigs of rosemary
  • 3 tablespoons butter at room temperature

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  • On both sides, sprinkle the steaks with a lot of salt and pepper.

  • On high heat, warm up a big cast-iron pan. When the pan is hot, add a little olive oil and swirl it around to cover the bottom.
  • Start cooking the steaks in the pan. Turn them over three or four times, and cook until they are browned and toasted.
