Making homemade mayo is so easy and tastes so much better than the store bought stuff.
Have you ever made homemade mayonnaise?
It never even dawned on me until we ran out of it one day and I needed it for a recipe. It was totally ridiculous that I ever bought it to begin with. Besides myself, there is only one other person in our house that eats it and we only eat it ever few months. Kinda a waste of money for us.
So, I opted to try it homemade. It’s incredibly easy and tastes so much better than the store bought version!.
- Lemon juice
Oil: I stick with a neutral tasting oil for homemade mayo. Canola, vegetable , sunflower or olive oil will all work.
This is a very basic version, but, you can flavor it up anyway you wish.
- Dry spice blends
- Red pepper
