Ingredients Needed:

  • Flour + Baking powder
  • Sugar
  • Milk
  • Vanilla
  • Eggs
  • Butter
  • Brown sugar
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Powdered sugar

How to Make:

  • First, make the batter. Be sure not to over mix it. Simply mix until there are no dry spots left.
  • Spread the prepared batter into a greased 9 x 13 baking pan.
  • In a clean bowl, prepare the topping. Once it’s prepared, drop it by the spoonfuls on top of the batter. Give it a swirl with a butter knife. Don’t mix it in..just swirl. 🌀
  • Bake! Your cake is done when a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Let it cool for approx 15 minutes.
  • Lastly, prepare the glaze. Whisk all the ingredients for the glaze in a bowl until smooth. Drizzle it on top of your warm cake.
  • Serve it. It tastes amazing warm 😉

Ingredients

FOR CAKE:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup ( 1 stick) butter, melted

FOR TOPPING:

  • 1/2 cup ( 1 stick ) butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 TBSP flour
  • 1 TBSP cinnamon

FOR GLAZE:

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 5 TBSP milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, eggs, baking powder, vanilla & milk. Mix well.
  3. Slowly stir in melted butter. Mix until combined. Pour batter into prepared baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, for topping, mix butter, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon until well combined. Drop spoon fulls into batter mixture. Swirl with knife for marbled effect.
  5. Bake 30-35 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
  6. Mix powdered sugar, milk and vanilla for glaze. Drizzle/Frost over warm cake.
