Two Ingredient Ice Cream with Homemade Magic Shell- Table for Seven

This is one of the recipes that you can changed up all over the place.

Starting with your whipping cream. You can also use milk. Regular ole’ milk. Whole.Skim. I’ve even used soy milk and eggnog.  Worked great.

Heck, give chocolate milk a try! I haven’t tried the chocolate yet, but, it sounds great, doesn’t it?!

You can also stir in just about anything:  

  • fruit
  • any kind of baking chips
  • coconut
  • candy bars
  • sprinkles
  • candy pieces
  • cookies
  • marshmallows
  • caramel

The list is endless.   Go crazy.

As you can see from my pictures, my kids totally loved this one and I agree.
It was lots of fun and tasted great!

Two Ingredient Ice Cream with Homemade Magic Shell

Prep Time: 30 minutes
Freezing Time: 6 hours
Total Time: 6 hours 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • FOR ICE CREAM:
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 1- 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk
  • FOR MAGIC SHELL:
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 TBSP coconut oil

Instructions

FOR ICE CREAM

  1. In a bowl, mix together cream and condensed milk. Add to ice cream maker and follow manufacturers instructions. Freeze for 1-2 hours before serving.
  2. If you do not have an ice cream maker, you can also use a stand up mixer or hand mixer. Mix them until creamy, then, pour into a freezer safe bowl and cover. Put in your freezer for 6-8 hours.

FOR MAGIC SHELL

  1. In a saucepan, melt coconut oil with chocolate chips until smooth. Remove from heat and let it come to room temperature before serving.
