OK guys..another easy one today..brown sugar!

Yes, you can make it yourself and yes, it’s simple.

I didn’t even know this was possible until my brown sugar container was empty and it was needed to finish a recipe. My life is so sheltered.

What You Need:

  • sugar
  • molasses

That’s it. Whisk them up for a few minutes and tada!

Brown sugar.

Fabulous.

You may never buy the bagged stuff again.

Make your brown sugar homemade! Yes..it's really easy

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 TBSP molasses ( if you want darker sugar, use 2 TBSP)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl. add sugar and molasses. With your mixer’s whisk attachment, whisk on high speed.until there is no longer any molasses. This will take a few minutes.
  2. If you don’t have a whisk attachment. A fork will work too.
  3. Store in a covered container.
