Crock Pot Apricot Chicken - Table For Seven

Contrary to what has been posted around here lately, my family has been eating more than brownies, cake and granola bars.  Finding a dinner recipe that everyone (OK, nearly everyone) likes and is easy to whip up can be a challenge at times.  Finding a dessert recipe is a breeze though.

Today though..we have a dinner recipe! Yay!  My favorite kind of dinner recipe..chicken and crock pot.
This recipe is very similar to my Crock Pot Cranberry Chicken.  We are just switching out the cranberries for apricot preserves and using tenders instead of shredding chicken breasts.

It ‘s a sweet chicken that tastes great over white or brown rice.

You can use the boxed/bottled version for the onion soup mix and dressing or I have included homemade versions for both.
