Well, our spring break is officially over.  It went by too, too fast. Sleeping late, relaxing and a short mini-trip and boom! It was done.  Back to school and work.  No worries though, only 2 more months until summer break.  Yay 🙂

My assigned blog is Fearless Homemaker.  I love, love, love Amy’s blog.  She has some amazing photos and delicious recipes.

Just a few that I pinned..Snickerdoodle Muffins, Slow Cooker Barbecue Chicken and Watermelon Ice Cream Cake.

My choice was her M&M Cookie Bars. We loved these. All the delicious flavors of a chewy cookie packed into a nice little bar and packed with candy.  A dream is what these are guys.  I can’t wait to dig into more of her recipes.

Ingredients (18-24 bars)

• 2 1/8 cups flour
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1 1/2 sticks (12 TBSP) butter, softened
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 2 cups M&M candies, divided

InstructionsPreheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease 9 x 13 baking dish.In a mixing bowl, lightly whisk flour, salt and baking powder. Set aside.In another mixing bowl, beat butter, brown sugar and white sugars until fluffy.Add in eggs, vanilla and mix well.Slowly add in flour mixture. Mix all until well combined.Fold in 1 cup of M&M candies.Spread dough evenly on to the bottom of prepared pan.Sprinkle remaining cup of M&M candies on evenly on top of dough. Press lightly.Bake bars for 30-35 minutes or until lightly brown.Cool completely before cutting.
