Mini Cinnamon Rolls with Icing! Bite size cinnamon rolls made in no time! Easy and so addicting.

Ingredients Needed:

  • Refrigerator crescent roll dough
  • Butter
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Brown sugar
  • Maple syrup
  • Milk
  • Powdered sugar

Crescent Roll Dough: Any brand or variety ( low fat, fat free, etc) will work. You can this usually in a tube in the refrigerated section of your grocery. In my store, they are right next to the butter section. See Example You also use the crescent roll dough sheets, if your store stocks them.

Maple Syrup: If you don’t wish to have maple flavored glaze, simply replace the maple syrup with milk.

Brown Sugar: Coconut palm sugar can be used as a replacement.

Recipe Notes:

  • If you don’t have a mini muffin pan, you can opt to use a regular size muffin pan. Just remember to adjust the size of your rolls and baking time.
  • Keep any leftover rolls in a covered container in the refrigerator.

Ingredients

FOR CINNAMON ROLLS:

  • 1 tube (8 oz ) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 TBSP melted butter
  • ground cinnamon, to taste preference
  • brown sugar, to taste preference

FOR ICING:

  • 1 TBSP maple syrup
  • 1 TBSP milk
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven according to crescent roll dough package directions. Spray mini muffin pan with non stick cooking spray.
  2. Roll each sheet(4 triangles) of dough separately out flat and pinch seams.
  3. Spread melted butter on dough. Then, sprinkle with desired amount of brown sugar and ground cinnamon
  4. Roll each dough sheet into a log and cut into evenly sized pieces (you will have 2 logs)
  5. Place mini cinnamon rolls into prepared mini muffin tin. Bake according to package directions.

FOR ICING:

  1. Whisk together maple syrup and milk in a bowl. Add in powdered sugar until desired consistency is reached. Drizzle over warm cinnamon rolls
